Challenging and rewarding best describes the SSI Rescue Diver course. Rescue divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers around them. Although this course will test your limits, it’s a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage diver emergencies. Many divers say this is the best and most rewarding course of their dive career!

 

 

 

As a SSI Rescue Diver you may now be eligible to enroll on the SSI Dive Leader / Dive-master program the start of you professional diving career.

You will firstly train in our local Sea Areal, then you’ll apply these newly learn t skills in the open water at one of our local shore dive sites.

 

 

What is involved?

  1. Knowledge Development – 5 knowledge reviews and an exam, where you will learn the theory behind rescuing people and various signs, symptoms and characteristics of tired and panicked divers.
  1. Skill Practice – 5 Rescue training sessions including 10 skills. In these sessions you will develop you rescue skills and learn a lot of important information to help you through the scenarios.
  1. Scenarios – There are 2 scenarios where we put everything that we learn on the course into practice. In this section you and your knowledge will be put to the test in realistic situations to see how much you have learnt.

 

The Fun Part
The fun part about React Right First Aid and CPR training is learning serious medical emergency response skills in an upbeat, positive environment. You gain the confidence that you are prepared to help in an emergency.

 

What You Learn in the React Right First Aid and CPR Courses

  • CPR and rescue breathing
  • Preventing and caring for shock
  • Spinal injury management
  • Use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk
  • First aid kit considerations

Prerequisites – SSI Advanced Open Water (qualifying certifications for other organisations and 20 dives) a current CPR primary and secondary care.

Rescue Course Cost – £315  (includes equipment (Except Mask and Snorkel)

 

Emergency First Responder (React Right Course)

SSI affiliate that specializes in teaching these lifesaving skills – and they’re for anyone, not just divers.

First aid and CPR are good skills for anyone involved in adventure sports – just in case.

 

They can also be vital skills needed in the workplace and it is of great importance that employers are able to provide this training creating a safe working environment where people are prepared and equipped with knowledge and skills of what to do in the event of an emergency.

We have fully trained Instructors who are able to provide these life saving skills/courses at your convenience either at your place of work .  React Right First Aid and CPR is an internationally recognized qualification and valid for up to 2 years after the course completion date.
